About me

I started my shiatsu journey in 2009 at the International Shiatsu School in Zagreb. I had previously graduated from the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management and when I was about to enter the business world I never saw myself in it. I have always wanted to do something where I can help others, but because of my understanding, the symptomatic approach of “classical” medicine did not suit me.

When I first learned about shiatsu I realized that it encompassed everything I wanted and I didn’t know how to define. A holistic approach to the body through the perception of emotional, mental and physical condition and nutrition is something inseparable when it comes to health, and shiatsu is based on such an approach. Shiatsu is a lifelong journey, constant learning and observation is always present as well as continuous work on oneself, because personal health is key to being able to help others.

From the beginning of my schooling until now, I have met many different people, gathered different experiences and had great results. My goal is to expand my experience and knowledge and transfer the same to others. Driven by this desire, I opened my own center where I will be able to help others become aware of the strength and power of their own body. At today’s pace of life, health care often falls into the background and people find it difficult to take responsibility for their health. Through treatments and counseling, a shiatsu therapist provides guidance, support and encouragement to the client to achieve just that, and to become aware of their possibilities, without creating dependence on the therapist.

Health is nothing but the optimal psychological, emotional and physical condition of a person at a given time given the current circumstances. Precisely because of its changing nature, which is a reflection of the dynamics of lifestyle and everyday environment, but also the “burden” of past experiences, it is something we can and should strive for day by day through the formation of positive habits, not something that awaits us like a reward if we cater to all the diets, fitness tips and preparations that television and magazines lead us to.

As a shiatsu therapist, my goal is to provide support where needed and help encourage the body to return to its natural balance through the process of self-healing.
